Less than a week to go. For some reason there is a touch of anxiety. Is it fear of the unknown? Fear of failure? I don't know, but after checking the blogs and forums it seems that we are not alone. Some comfort is gained from the fact that we have at least travelled a bit before. Perhaps the anxiety relates not to what lies ahead but what we leave behind: two children (well at 16 and18 yo they are no longer children) and two dogs. I wonder who will miss us the most 😉.
If you like the background photo, I went to take a photo of a scallop shell on our local beach. FAIL too hard to capture what I wish for, however I did get photo while having a swim. Memories of home.
