Big day today.Started pretty early as we knew we had a big one in front of us, with lots of hills. the bluest of skies but it got super hot pretty fast.Now suffering the consequences. Walk was 28 km with 500m ascent. The end bit was a slog at 12.5 km without a break or fùenté (water fountain). All the pilgrims in the auberge are resting. So the physical was hard, the mental seems perhaps to be getting easier-we will get there eventually. And the longer stretches give time to ponder.....
