7 June zubiri to cizur mentor via Pamplona

A couple of great days. Yesterday we left our monastery accommodation and had a really good morning. Feeling pretty fresh so it was all very pleasant. In fact the changing landscape from rural to urban makes it all very interesting. a lot of today was beside or crisscrossing the river arga.  It's a motley crew we are travelling with. Loads of Australians and Irish. Americans, French and some very noisy Italians. You meet along the way and then for beers sometime in the afternoon. For the first couple of days my fantasy was putting on my crocs and a cold beer, as of today I have extended that now to crocs, cold beer and voltaren gel. The days are a mixture now of some nasty, nasty inclines and some even nastier declines.but all the way there are fields of wild flowers and that's always enough to put a smile on my face.
We managed to find a medieval festival in market in a gorgeous place called trinidad del arre. All sorts of fabulous treats for the tired hungry pilgrims who have just come Down the mountain.

Really travelling pretty well, each day is a bit tougher. Feet sore, legs stronger even when tired and sore we know that we will make it.
